Jacob D. Chase (“Jacob”) is a Managing Partner at DRGINVEST Holdings LLC (“DRGINVEST”), a diversified holding company. DRGINVEST strives to maximize its impact on the world through the execution of its “Opportunity Driven” ethos.
With several real estate-related business units, the company also manages a portfolio of private equity investments, and actively seeks to acquire or start new portfolio companies. At DRGINVEST, Jacob leads efforts focused on organizational and cultural design, team development, and capital allocation.
Prior to joining DRGINVEST in 2017, Jacob spent 10 years navigating the distressed credit world on Wall Street. During the height of the financial crisis, Jacob began his professional career as a restructuring banker at Lazard in New York City and Chicago. From Lazard, Jacob joined Angelo, Gordon & Co (“AG”) as an investment analyst in the Distressed Credit group. Through seven years split between NYC and London, at AG he evaluated credit risk, business value, and generally honed investment skill.
Jacob is a Colorado native, graduating with honors from the University of Denver with Finance and Marketing degrees in 2007. He is an avid reader on a wide range of subjects and is a dedicated student of understanding how the world really works.
